HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 SONGS
- What Time Is It? – It’s the beginning of summer. The students are eagerly waiting for the final class to end (which happens to be the class of Ms. Darbus.) As the clock ticked to the class’ dismissal, the grouped broke out into a song and dance number. Later on by the lockers, Troy gave Gabriella a necklace
- Fabulous – scene at the posh Lava Springs Country Club owned by Sharpay’s parents. Sharpay with her “ladies in waiting” did this fine song and dance number by the pool. One of the memorable High School Musical 2 songs.
- Work This Out – Sharpay was dismayed that, while she used her influence to have Troy work in the Country Club, the rest of the Wildcats, including Gabriella and her group were also hired. She instructed Fulton to make the lives of these kids miserable. Troy tries to perk them up.
- You Are The Music In Me – kelsi’s composition that she purposedly wrote for Troy and Gabriella. This was supposed to be sang during the competition at Lava Springs. Troy refused but when kelsi and Gabriella started to sing, he couldn’t help it but to sing along. Eventually, he agreed to sing with the group during the competition. This is also one of the highlights of High School Musical 2 songs.
- Humuhumunukunukuapua'a – Sharpay hatches plans after plans to get Troy to sing with her. She uses her influence and her father to entice Troy with a basketball scholarship, a high-paying summer job, his own cart, etc.
- I Don’t Dance – another well-loved scene where Ryan, who was supposed to spy on the Wild Cats, was eventually “adopted” by the group. This is where he challenged Chad to a baseball game (song and dance) and he eventually gained Chad’s respect. Gabriella announced that Ryan will direct their competition number.
- You Are the Music in Me (by Sharpay) – a dress rehearsal where Troy was forced to sing on-stage with Sharpay as she renders this song in her fast-paced version.
- Gotta Go My Own Way – Gabriella’s parting song to Troy as she leaves broken hearted. She gets affected by Troy’s seeming change of direction towards Sharpay.
- Bet on It – Troy eventually realizes the importance of his friends to his life and decides to “do the right thing.” He confronts Sharpay to tell her he is not singing with her. Another memorable number of the High School Musical 2 songs.
- Everyday – the new song Ryan handed over to Troy to sing.
- All for One – Finale song of the cast.
All right. Yes, there’s talk about High School Musical 3. Hang on as we add more numbers to replace High School Musical 2 songs with the new ones.
